Kirsty is part of the family business leadership team in the UK, leading services to family businesses in Scotland.
Kirsty has experience of ensuring that all KPMG staff working with family businesses, understand the unique dynamics of a family business.
Kirsty also leads our family governance offering in the UK and has spent the last six years as a family business consultant, helping family businesses of all size and age during times of change. Her experience has enabled families to reach consensus on their shared purpose for the future and governance of their family business.
She is an active member of the Family Firm Institute (FFI), and holds a distinction in the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising Family Business.
Kirsty was also responsible for developing KPMG’s programme for the Next Generation, running a Women in Family Business series and the Scottish Family Business Leader’s forum, in conjunction with the Institute for Family Business (IFB). Kirsty has worked in professional services for over 21 years, the past 17 of which have been at KPMG.
